Job description

We are looking for a programmer analyst (full-stack) to join our Research and Development team in Montréal (Quebec).
IMDS is a software editor specialized in the Automated Document Recognition and Reading (ADR / LAD). Our solutions are used by insurance corporations, banks and government administrations (ministries provincial and federal).

The analyst contributes to the evolutions of our dematerialization solution and varied topics such as :

• Software Architecture (web service, database, C++, Java, ect.),
• Image processing, character recognition (OCR, ICR, IWR), form recognition, facial recognition, document classification and more generally machine learning,
• Design of processes and efficient user interfaces,
• Configuration of scanning equipment

Various tasks include:

• Analysis and writing of applicative and technical specifications,
• Development of software evolutions,
• Implementation and execution of test procedures, code review,
• Writing documentation (product, training support)
• Participation in meetings with IMDS developers and researchers.

Required skills :

• Programming language: C++, Java, Python, C#
• Architecture and web technology: Spring, Reactjs, JSF, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, WebServices,
• Database : MSSQL, Oracle, MongoDB
• IDE : Visual Studio, IntelliJ IDEA
• Strong capacity for analysis
• Responsiveness, autonomy,
• Asset: experience in software QA, automated testing,
• Language: French and English
• Asset: notions of image processing, other languages and technologies, multithreading, machine learning
