Job description
We are seeking a junior technical consultant to join our professional services team in Montreal, Quebec. You will work on internal projects as well as those for IMDS clients, collaborating with the sales and R&D teams.
This is a stimulating position, ideal for someone looking for a challenging technical role involving interaction with clients, sales teams, R&D teams, and IMDS partners.
Responsibilities include :
- Implementing and customizing solutions for clients (development, configuration).
- Managing projects from requirements analysis to production deployment.
- Preparing and delivering technical presentations of IMDS solutions to prospects and during conferences.
- Advising and training clients on IMDS technologies.
- Analyzing client needs and offering technical solutions.
The consultant works on projects involving software solutions developed and distributed by IMDS in the following :
- Document Recognition and Automated Reading (RAD/LAD), OCR, facial recognition, etc.
- Customer Communication Management solutions.
- Document Management and Archiving solutions.
Required skills :
- Engineering degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
- Programming experience: C++ or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Analytical skills, initiative, autonomy, and strong communication skills.
- Willingness to travel within Europe and Canada.
- Proficiency in English and French.
- Assets: technologies such as Python, Java, SQL, HTML, CSS, etc., interest or knowledge of image processing or Machine Learning.

Job description
We are looking for a programmer analyst (full-stack) to join our Research and Development team in Montréal (Quebec).
IMDS is a software editor specialized in the Automated Document Recognition and Reading (ADR / LAD). Our solutions are used by insurance corporations, banks and government administrations (ministries provincial and federal).
The analyst contributes to the evolutions of our dematerialization solution and varied topics such as :
- Software Architecture (web service, database, C++, Java, ect.),
- Image processing, character recognition (OCR, ICR, IWR), form recognition, facial recognition, document classification and more generally machine learning,
- Design of processes and efficient user interfaces,
- Configuration of scanning equipment
Various tasks include:
- Analysis and writing of applicative and technical specifications,
- Development of software evolutions,
- Implementation and execution of test procedures, code review,
- Writing documentation (product, training support)
- Participation in meetings with IMDS developers and researchers.
Required skills :
- Programming language: C++, Java, Python, C#
- Architecture and web technology: Spring, Reactjs, JSF, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, WebServices,
- Database : MSSQL, Oracle, MongoDB
- IDE : Visual Studio, IntelliJ IDEA
- Strong capacity for analysis
