Job description

We are looking for an Analyst Programmer to join our services team in Montreal, Quebec. You will work on projects both in-house and with IMDS customers, in collaboration with the sales and R&D teams.

This is a stimulating position, ideal for someone looking for a challenging technical role, working with customers, sales teams, R&D and IMDS partners.

 

Tasks include :

1. implementing and customizing solutions for customers (configuration, programming),

2. managing projects from needs analysis to production launch,

3. preparing and delivering technical presentations of IMDS solutions to prospective customers and at conferences,

4. advising and training customers on IMDS technologies,

5. analyzing customer needs and find technical solutions.

 

The Programmer Analyst works on projects involving software solutions published and distributed by IMDS, in the fields of :

1. Automated Document Recognition and Reading (ADR/LAD), OCR, facial recognition, etc.

2. Customer Communication Management solutions

3. Document Managing Systems (DMS) and Archiving solutions.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent,
  • Programming experience: C++ or other object-oriented programming,
  • Analytical skills, sense of initiative, autonomous, good communication skills,
  • Open to mobility in Europe and Canada,
  • English and French language,
  • Assets :
    • Knowledge of other technologies such as: Python, Java, SQL, HTML, CSS, etc. 
    • Knowledge or interest in image processing, machine learning.

Job description

We are looking for an IT technician to join our Montreal (Quebec) team in charge of professional services, support and pre-sales. You will be working on projects both in-house and with IMDS customers. This is a challenging position, ideal for someone looking for a varied technical role, working with IMDS customers and partners.

 

Tasks include :

1. Handling support incidents in a timely manner,

2. Analyzing problems and finding solutions (configuration, programming),

3. Following up with IMDS software development teams and partners,

4. Installing and configurating solutions at customer sites,

5. Ensuring IT security and monitoring of our customers’ cloud environments.

Depending on the candidate’s profile, there are excellent prospects for technical and/or commercial development: product expert, IT consultant or sales engineer.

 

The IT technician works on projects involving the software and hardware solutions distributed by IMDS in the fields of:

1. Scanning, Automatic Document Recognition and Reading (ADR/ADR), Character Recognition (OCR), facial recognition, etc.

2. Communications management solutions: automated generation of mail, email, electronic documents, SMS, personalized and interactive videos,

3. Document Managing Systems (DMS) and Archiving solutions.

 

Requirements

  • DEC in computer science + 2 years’ experience or equivalent,
  • Programming experience: C, C++ or other object-oriented programming,
  • Analytical skills, sense of initiative, autonomous, good communication skills,
  • Open for mobility,
  • Good English language level,
  • Assets :
    • Knowledge of other technologies such as: Python, Java, SQL, HTML, CSS, etc.,
    • Knowledge of IT administration (Windows Server, Hyper-V, Cloud Services, Network, Security, etc.)

Job description

We are looking for a specialist to take charge of the marketing aspect of our products.

They will work in coordination with management, sales and technical teams.

Without necessarily having a technical background, the person we’re looking for must have an interest in the field of information technology. They will need to have a good grasp of our solutions in order to produce eye-catching and relevant communications; they will need to produce tools to support the sales team and raise the profile of the company and its solutions internationally.

Tasks include :

1. Writing web content, product sheets, customer feedback and other communications around IMDS products and solutions,

2. Layout of communications in compliance with IMDS graphic guidelines and the constraints imposed by the target medium (Web, e-mail, cell phone, flyer, etc.),

3. Participation in the integration of content on the IMDS Web site (without necessarily requiring advanced computer skills),

4. Creation of content for professional social networks,

5. Creation of pre-sales support (PPT, video…).

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing or Administration or related fields,
  • Languages : English and French,
  • Computer skills: MS Office Suite, Image editing tools (Photoshop),
  • Digital marketing knowledge,
  • Experience in web design/CMS is a plus
