Job description

We are looking for a Support and Software Solutions Analyst to join our professional services team in Montreal (Quebec). You will contribute to both internal initiatives and client-facing projects in close collaboration with our Sales and R&D teams.
This is a dynamic and engaging role, ideal for someone looking for technically challenging work that involves direct interaction with clients, sales representatives, researchers, and IMDS partners.

Key responsibilities will include:

• implementing and customizing solutions for clients (development, configuration),
• analyze and respond to client support requests by identifying and delivering technical solutions,
• managing projects from initial needs assessment through to production deployment,
• preparing and delivering technical presentations of IMDS solutions to prospects and at conferences,
• advising and training clients on IMDS technologies.

The analyst will work on projects involving IMDS-developed software solutions in the following areas:

• document Recognition and Automated Data Capture (RAD/LAD), OCR, facial recognition, etc.,
• customer Communication Management (CCM) solutions,
• electronic Document Management (EDM) and Archiving systems.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or a Bachelor’s in Computer Science,
• Programming experience in C++ or other object-oriented languages,
• Strong analytical skills, self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively,
• Willingness to travel within Europe and Canada,
• Proficiency in both English and French, written and spoken
• Assets: familiarity with technologies such as Python, Java, SQL, HTML, CSS. Interest or knowledge in image processing or machine learning.
